Home Sweet Home

Hi!

Another die I would like to feature, is the NEW house die.  The die will cut out all sides of the house plus the roof.  What is great about the die is that you can cut the patterned paper out as well -- so no cutting shapes with your scissors.   The windows, doors and other details do need to be cut by hand.

I used chipboard to make this house.  However, I found that you might want use a thinner chipboard which may be easier to bend and glue together.

This is a brand new E die and won't be found in the die cut directory book as of yet.

Have fun!

More giant dies!

Hi!

If you haven't noticed already.....We have a bunch of new dies for you to play with.  Again, these dies use 12 x 12 paper.

Tip: Be careful when placing your paper on these large dies.  Make sure that the paper covers the shape of the die.   It's really easy for a edge to be cut off since the die shape uses most of the 12x12 paper & does not leave much paper scraps.

On a side note...I am writing this note from Hawaii's sunny shores.  Yes, I am in Hawaii again.  I was honored to be a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding.    These pictures were taken from our hotel room -- right about when the sun was about to set.   Ahhh...to get away from rain and snow!!

We also have a few pre cut as well.

Have fun!

Happy 2009 and Here's to no Snow!

Hi!

Happy 2009 to all!  Being from Hawaii, I loved the snow at first.  Yes, I was THAT crazy neighbor running around at 10pm making a snowman.  But on the 4 or 5th day I was pleading for it to stop.  So, looking forward to valentine's day is much better than a snow day anyday!  =)  I made this card in anticipation of this holiday!

Die Cut of the Week!

Hi!

This week die cut of the week is the pillow box (Die D 141).  I used a clear acrylic sheet to cut the pillow box.    It would be great to hold candies or even a gift card for christmas.

The red scalloped circle was cut using the Slice machine! The "joy" was punched out using the EK Success circle punch.   We have the joy (as well as to/from) printed out so you can easily make your own tags as well.
