FUN Cards!

Crew member, Mary Froehlich, made these cute cards. Mary used the juice box, both vertically and horizontally to make tissue boxes for her Get Well card. She tore up small pieces of tissue to glue onto her card. What a clever way to add dimension and make the tissue boxes look so real.

She is making Moving cards for a family member, and she had fun making several different versions. How fun is that? There is so much hard work when you a make a long distance move and what a fun way to share your new address with these great cards. I love how she utilized the USA die and marked their trip to their new home.

Lions, leopards and polar bears, OH MY!

The latest release from QuicKutz is here and will be available for sale beginning on Tuesday, July 8. These zoo animals are adorable: elephant, giraffe, lion, polar bear, leopard, and monkey -- these shapes are available in both 2x2 and 4x4 sizes. There are goosebumps to match: giraffe and zebra -- also in both the 2x2 and 4x4 sizes.

There are new cookie cutter shapes as well for fun summer cards and pages. The BBQ shapes includes an ice cream cone, grill, hot dog, watermelon slice, and popsicle. The BEACH shapes includes a fish, a wave, a palm tree, a starfish and two shells. The SUMMER shapes set include a pail, shovel, splash, beach ball, swimming trunks, goggles, and swimming suit.

The FREE die for the QuicKutz Crew this month is the 2x2 POLAR BEAR. So cute -- come and see the samples I made for this cute die.

NEW June Release is here!

One of our crew members, Mary, made this cute sign for her niece utilizing her QuicKutz. She painted a piece of chipboard and decorated it with the Wallies Mini Chalkboard. The words are from the Mademoiselle Gift Set. What a fun project and very useful idea. You can use chalk on this, but Mary plans to use a dry erase marker.

Fun projects with QuicKutz

  One of our QuicKutz crew members, Toni Davis, made these cute purses with her QuicKutz. On the top purse, she added a ribbon handle. On the bottom purse, Toni cut it out as though it were the top of a take-out box and used a wire handle. In the inside, she used her QuicKutz to place her message. How cute! Thank you for sharing your great idea Toni!

Exclusive monthly die from QuicKutz

Beginning in June, QuicKutz plans to have an exclusive die for QuicKutz Crew members. If you are a member, the free die you receive each month will be one of these exclusive dies. If you are not a member, now is an excellent time to join! In June, the die is a 2x2 CROWN. There is also a 2x2 TRAIN available for any Crew Members who recruit someone else to join.

A few members of the crew decorated their luggage tag from last month. The challenge for the next meeting is to make an ABC book. I made my book in about an hour, utilizing the tab free page of the NOTEBOOK die for the Revolution. My ABC's were made with the KATIE alphabet. Then I had fun finding shapes for each letter of the alphabet. Everyone was inspired to made their own ABC book in various ways. How will you make your book for next month's meeting? Have FUN!
