What's your favorite?

At Lasting Memories, we love our QuicKutz. They are so versatile to use with scrapbook pages, cards and a multiple variety of other projects.

The alphabet dies are amazing to use because I can just cut the letters I need, rather than having to deal with an entire sheet of alphabet letters.

The shapes that QuicKutz designs are fun and easy to use. Laurie Edwards made this cute tag with the SQUIRREL for Valentine's Day. I love using QuicKutz on my projects and I have quite a few favorites.

One of my favorite shapes is the CUPCAKE. This card was made by Laura Worth, one of our QuicKutz Crew members. I love how she used patterned paper for the frosting with bright colors.

You should know that Lasting Memories has a group for all of us fans of QuicKutz! The QuicKutz Crew costs $35 for a membership for six months. This includes 25% off on all of your QuicKutz die purchases. The QK Crew meets once a month on the fourth Friday of the month. Our next meeting is February 27 at 6:30 p.m. If you would like more information about the Crew, give me a call -- or better yet, just come to the meeting and see what it's all about.

At our last meeting, 13 people signed up to participate in the swap. If you signed up, please bring 12 identical items to share. These items can be a card, a tag, an ATC or whatever you would like to bring! My challenge for the month is to make something with the theme, "What I love." Bring your projects to show others in the group to earn tickets for FREE QuicKutz products.

The newest release from QuicKutz is here and it is amazing. Flowers, butterflies, birds -- and it is all dimensional. Actually it is extremely versatile -- because you can use them flat or make them dimensional. Come and see the great designs.

QuicKutz Crew meeting swaps

Our last QuicKutz Crew meeting was Friday evening. Some of the crew members sign up to participate in a swap each month and I thought you would like to see some of the fun things crew members come up with. The tins were filled with candy (but something happened to that). I always look forward to seeing the cards, tags and other projects everyone comes up with each month.

If you would like to join the Lasting Memories QuicKutz Crew, just let us know the next time you are in the store. The cost is $35 for a six month membership, and you receive 25% off on all of your QuicKutz dies.

The MIXING BOWL is finally here!

We have all been waiting for the MIXING BOWL to get here and finally, it is. Great with recipe books and kitchen pages -- I thought about filling it with hearts for Valentine's Day.

QuicKutz Crew meeting this Friday, January 23

We are looking for some great people to join our QuicKutz Crew. The cost for the Crew is $35.00 for six months, and you receive 25% off on all of your QuicKutz purchases. This includes any supplies, like the MAGNETIC WAND, the QUICK STIK, or QuicKutz idea books. We meet each month on the fourth Friday of the month to share ideas, get the latest QuicKutz news and draw for FREE prizes.

We also sign up each month to swap projects with each other. This month, twelve people signed up to participate in the swap at the next QuicKutz Crew meeting. If you signed up, please bring 11 identical items to share. You may bring a card, a tag, an ATC, or whatever you'd like. The challenge for the next meeting is "Birthdays" so bring a birthday project to show the group. If you use one of the new Birthday dies, you will receive an extra ticket for the drawing.

Fabulous "Happy Birthday" release

We have been having so much fun with the new HAPPY BIRTHDAY release from QuicKutz. 

Our QuicKutz Crew member, Laura Worth, made the HAPPY BIRTHDAY and CUPCAKE cards.

NEW RELEASE on Tuesday, January 6

The new release for QuicKutz is FABULOUS! It's all about birthdays including number CANDLES, PARTY HAT, CAKE and ICE CREAM. There is an amazing CUPCAKE as well as PENNANTS in various shapes and sizes. There are two games available for birthdays: the traditional PIN THE TAIL ON THE DONKEY as well as PIN THE LIPS ON THE FROG.

Did you know that QuicKutz is coming to Lasting Memories? Kirk and Dan, representatives from QuicKutz will be here on Saturday from 4:30-6 p.m. to give demonstrations and free make 'n takes. The event is FREE, but please call to register if you are planning to attend, because we want to know how many people to expect.

If you have been invited to the 2nd Annual "Thank You for Buying Your QuicKutz at Lasting Memories" crop, be sure and bone up on your QuicKutz trivia. Kirk and Dan will be testing your knowledge, and will have fabulous prizes available for the winners.

EXCLUSIVE QUICKUTZ DIES AT LASTING MEMORIES

The QuicKutz Crew has been receiving FREE exclusive dies and Lasting Memories has a few extras that we can now sell to everyone! The CROWN 2x2 die is available, as well as the QUICKUTZ TOOLS 4x4 die set. The heart shaped RIBBON SLOT 2x2 die is also available. They are here while supplies last, so hurry in for best selection.

The 2nd Annual "Thank You for Buying Your QuicKutz at Lasting Memories" Crop is scheduled for Saturday, January 10 at 6 PM. You will receive an invitation to this crop if you spent $750 on QuicKutz during 2008. We will provide food, fun, and prizes -- the representatives from QuicKutz will provide information and more prizes.

Plan now to join us on Saturday, January 10 from 4:30 PM to 6 PM. The representatives from QuicKutz will be at Lasting Memories to give us a demonstration on various QuicKutz tools.

QuicKutz Crew changes for 2009

There are some changes to the QuicKutz Crew beginning on January 1, 2009. The cost to join the crew is $35 for six months, whether you are joining for the first time or renewing your membership. After you join, you will receive 25% off on all your QK purchases (except the Silhouette). When you come to crew meetings, you will have a chance to preview upcoming dies and place your order. The crew meetings will be the same -- full of ideas, information and fun!

At the last crew meeting, members shared their chosen words for 2009. HOPE, ACCEPTANCE, MINDFULNESS, and PERSEVERE are great ones for us all to consider. At the swap, crew members brought some great cards, tags, and even some food for the reindeer!

Exclusive dies available at Lasting Memories

The new HOLLY AND BERRIES border and TOOTH FAIRY dies for the Revolution are available now at Lasting Memories for $34.95 each. These exclusive dies are only available through the Crafters Home retail members group. Robyn made a cute elf using the TOOTH FAIRY die.

The next QuicKutz Crew meeting is Friday, December 19 at 6:30 p.m. Bring your projects to share. My challenge is to pick your word for 2009 -- if you use QuicKutz to make your word, I will give you an extra ticket in the drawing for FREE QuicKutz.

If you are participating in the swap, the number has not changed. Twelve people have signed up, please make 11 items to share.
